Willkommen bei der Melibocus Music & Media

Uns gibt es seit Juni 2001 und unser Ziel ist die Unterstützung junger unbekannter, sehr begabter Künstler.

Die erste CD Folksongs of Scotland & Ireland wurde im Sommer 2001 produziert, mit einem 24jährigen schottischen Sänger. (vergriffen)

Seit Sommer 2002 ist die Einspielung mit einem 15jährigen Pianisten erhältlich: Von Bach bis Bartók.

Im Oktober 2002 wurde ein Live-Mitschnitt der 1. und 2. Etappe des VII. Europäischen Chopin Klavierwettbewerbs gemacht. Sie hören auf einer Doppel-CD Klavier-Soli von 21 verschiedenen jungen Künstlern.

Im Februar 2006 wurden die Songs of Travel von V. Williams und andere Lieder eingespielt mit einem hochtalentierten, viel versprechendem jungen Bassbariton aus USA: Nathan Stark.

Im Februar 2008 erlebten und hörten wir erstmals die Gruppe a-Capulco bei einem Konzert in Sonthofen. Mit Charme, Humor und einer ungeheuren Musikalität überzeugte uns dieses gemischte Quintett, so dass wir uns schnell entschlossen haben, mit diesen jungen begabten Musikern, eine Debut-CD einzuspielen.

Im Oktober 2008 entstand in 3 Tagen voll guter Laune und unermüdlichem Einsatz: almost serious.

Vier Jahre später folgte im Oktober 2012 die CD besser wird’s nicht, auch wenn wir uns sicher sind, dass a-Capulco noch viel vor hat.

We are a young enterprise founded in June 2001. Our aim is to support young, unknown and highly talented artists.

Folksongs of Scotland & Ireland performed by a 24 year old Scottish singer was produced in summer 2001.

A year later we released From Bach to Bartok, a recording of classical music performed by 15 year old pianist Heinrich Agapito Brücher.

In October 2002 we recorded the double album Chopin, with twenty-one of Europe’s most accomplished young virtuoso pianists performing some of Chopin’s greatest works live at the VII European Piano Competition.

In February 2006 we released Songs of Travel by V. Williams and other songs with a young highly talented and promising bass baritone from the USA: Nathan Stark.

It was in Sonthofen in February 2008 when we heard and experienced the group a-Capulco in concert the first time. The mixed quintet convinced us with their charming, humorous and tremendous musical sense.

So we quickly decided to produce a debut-CD with those young and talented musicians. For 3 days in October 2008 the CD: almost serious was produced with tireless dedication and a lot of fun.

Four years later followed the CD besser wird’s nicht (it doesn’t get any better) even thou we are certain of a bright future for a-Capulco.
